Fine early Malloch’s Patent all brass side casting reel, 3 ¼” diameter
backplate, stamped “Malloch’s Patent” and with polished horn handle, non-reversible screw drum, correct brass foot and casting eye
, the reel turns 360 degrees and locks in 4 positions with a steel spring indent mechanism fitted to the foot block,
retains virtually all original bronzing, fine example, c1900
