2 vintage travel, bicycle or poachers rods by Sowerbutts and Foster? light & heavy ac
A pair of vintage slit cane travel or bicycles rods, sometimes referred to as poachers rods.
A sturdy 4 piece by Sowerbutts of London with red agate guides and close whipped burgundy ties, heavy brass reel fitting and ferrules, and another unnamed but looks like a Foster of Ashbourne light 3 piece rod for fly and spin, section lengths approx. 25” which means they fit on a adult standard bicycle frame in days gone by,
*Both have original cloth bags, fresh to the market, rods as found, untouched and great for display yet can be fished too
