An early all brass Scottish style crank wind winch, typical of the Edinburgh pattern,
2 ½” diameter, 1 ¾” wide, shaped crank with turned bone handle, 3 pillars, lacking 2 screw heads, original steel pin foot,
the reel winds smooth and well, dates c1870-80, a good example of early reel craftsmanship.
