A fabulous true antique English ash wood and greenheart drop ring rod, approx. 18’ in 7 sections including three greenheart tips, all with tiny little drop rings, this rod dates c 1860-80 and a fine collector piece for any angling collector or historian, brass fittings on handle, blacked bronze ferrules with copper loop wires to tie the joints together, original interspace whippings on the tips to give them strength and stiffness, a couple of drop ring missing, apart from* that, for a rod of 150 years + old, its in great condition,
Ideal if paired with a brass reel or winch (not included but we have many listed) for the superb man cave or tackle room display
