Hearder of Plymouth brass extending gaff for salmon & pike & a brass disgorger c1880

A rarely seen Hearder of Plymouth England antique brass extending gaff and brass hook disgorger, probably used for Pike fishing, possible salmon too, few Hearder items ever turn up other than lures, the gaff extends from 15” to 26” with a brass square shaft and steel hook, the hinged point protector is stamped Hearder Plymouth, the handle is turned rosewood and has* brass finial with* a hole for as wrist strap or cord, the disgorger, is more rare than the gaff, measures 9-1/2” long and is heavily stamped Hearder Plymouth to the shaft, two great pieces that deserve to stay together,
Header tackle date c 1820 to 1900+
