Fine Farlow all brass Patent lever salmon fly reel, No.178, backplate engraved with “191 Strand” address, the reel is 4 -1/4” diameter by 2” wide, original polished and shaped cow horn handle, ( slightly bent), the reel winds smooth and well, constant check, knurled brake lever to backplate, original block foot, dating c1900, super example and retaining virtually all bronze finish.
