Early Hardy 4” brass and ebonite salmon fly reel, German silver rims, original horn handle, Hardy oval logo, 90mm smooth brass foot with correct pillars and screws, no cracks in the ebonite backplate, the reel winds smooth with a good resounding click check, polished finish, running well, a fine example, c1890.
