This is a rarely seen Hardy Palakona salmon fly rod with factory special order spliced wood and cane handle and drop rings,
great display piece , early rod No 1007, dates c 1890 and one of the earliest hardy rods weve seen
Steel Centre, rod15' three piece with correct spare tip, drop rings throughout, missing only 1 little ring
bronze screw lock ferrules, close whipped with light varnish crazing and original but tatty cloth bag
superb original rod for the collector
