Extremely rare Jones Maker, 111 Jermyn St., London, No2* 2-1/2” all brass folding handle winch, very few of these about, straight winding arm with hinge and rotating lock disc, white handle allows the handle to be folded for storage,* maker’s details engraved to winding plate, raised rear check housing, original 6 screws & pin brass block foot, kink to foot,( you can warm the foot and bring back to straight)smooth check clicker, all working well, a stunning little reel dating between 1845 and 1852 only
