A fine antique* Farlow’s black japanned Salmon Fly reservoir box, measuring 10” x 7” x 4” with cream lacquer clip filled eight lift-out trays,
six of which are fully dressed with a range of large salmon down to large trout/small salmon flies of assorted patterns.*
Bought from a private seller whose grandfather bought it back in the day, it was kept in their home in Scotland for the annual holidays on the Tweed and the Don.
No gut eyes but a total of 270 flies across the six dressed trays. *C. Farlow & Co. 191 Strand London embossed stamp to the inside lid.*
fine exterior condition and really nice cabinet traded in by one of our friends
