Rich holohan fished last week down on the syndicate and had six fish which included four twenties up to 28lb.

MANOR FARM LAKE

Over the weekend Craig “Beefy” Blunsdon had a new PB in the shape of the mirror known as “Spike” at 38lb 04oz.Cliff Kemp also fished the weekend taking 10 fish up to a rarely caught linear from the lake at 34lb 08oz.And Ben Aldred had three fish up to 27lb along with a 10lb 08oz tench.

BRASENOSE 1

Russell Martin fished last week and ended up with 23 fish with the biggest two going 20lb 08oz and 20lb 12oz.Six year old Courtney Manktelow fished with her mom and dad last week and had a new PB 19lb 04oz mirror.Midlands angler Scott Norton had a 24lb mirror on Sunday.

ST JOHNS LAKE

Ash Hoskins had a 18.10 mirror fishing the end of last week, fishing with Ash was Lee Wagner who had a low double and a 18.02 mirror.Mark Bryant fished the weekend and had four fish up to 24lb using Bait Works “Perfect Pellet” hookbaits and stick mix. Leon Maugey Snr had a 35lb 08oz mirror yesterday whilst fishing from the road bank.And Chris Lowe had a 22lb mirror last night using SBS Lobworm Boilies over a spodded area at range.

Dave Smith from Gloucester had five fish over the weekend up to a 21lb 08oz mirror.

HARDWICK LAKE

Bedfordshires, Mark Ayliffe, got amongst the stockies when he fished particles over a spod mix. Mark caught five doubles to 14lb.

MANOR FARM LAKE

Linears Fishery Officer, Chris Blunt, is taken a few days well earnt rest but cannot stay away from the fishery. He is currently on Manor where he has so far caught a double figure mirror, another spot on 35lb, a 25.12 and a 26lb linear scaled fish. The linear scaled fish is a new one that is coming through to add to the stunning fish already in the water. The 35lb fish is the one known as the ‘Matt Hayes Fish’ – but because Chris has now caught this same fish four times over the years we are thinking of re-naming it ‘Chris’s Mate’. Chris is fishing with the new Richworth KG1 Boilies over spodded particles at 70 yards range.

OXLEASE LAKE

Fleetwood Lancs angler, Tony Brookes, caught a personal best mirror of 26.04 when he fished a tiger nut pop-up over a spod mix at 60 yards range.

Steve White from Mansfield fished A1 Boilies with stringers at 60 yards to catch ten carp. The catch included four low twenties to 23.08.

Fishing particles over pellets at 70 yards, Redditch angler Neil Bridges caught mirrors of 26.14, 25.04, 20.02 and two doubles.

A 19.12 personal best mirror was caught by Chris Jayes. Chris who is from Leicester fished Tuti – Fruti Boilies over spodded hemp at 50 yards. His mate Martin Gouch, also from Leicester, fished maggot hook bait and maggots in bags at 60 yards to catch a 20.02 mirror.

FLOODING

Due to flooding 10 of the platform swims on Oxlease will be closed – this is for your safety – please do not go on the flooded platforms. All other swims on the lake are open as usual.
