GENERAL

It looks as though the fish have stopped spawning (at least for now) on Brasenose-2, Manor Farm and St. Johns. they are still having a little go on Hardwick/Smiths and Brasenose-1 but this looks to be coming to an end.

As of yet I haven’t seen or heard of any spawning activity on the Guys Syndicate but if any members now otherwise please let us know.

MANOR FARM LAKE
Peter Evans from Wigan had a new PB when he caught a 20lb common using a pineapple pop-up fished as a single.

Clive Wilkinson from Blackpool had two upper doubles and a new PB 34lb 04oz mirror using Richworth Tuttis at about 60 yards range.

John from Lancaster had four twenties including mirrors of 28lb and 28lb 04oz.

Richard Earle from Bristol had the “Little Linear” off the top along with two mid-doubles.

Jo Green managed a 20lb 04oz common along with three mirrors up to 28lb 06oz.

Graham Green aka “Dodge” broke his PB when he landed the “Matt Hayes Fish” aka “Chris’s Pet” at 32lb 10oz. Graham had the fish at close range using a Mainline Pulse dumbell bottom bait.

BRASENOSE 1
Greg Barlow from Newcastle-under-Lyme had seven fish up to 15lb using maize and CC Moore Meteor boilies over spod at 50 yards.

Richie Redman from Stoke had 29 fish including twenties of 20lb 12oz, 23lb 08oz, 25lb 04oz and 26lb 06oz using maggots over spodded pellets and maggots at 50 yards, Richie broke his PB at least two times during this session.

Craig Barlow from Stoke had four fish up to mid-doubles using single fruit pop-ups and pva bags of pellets at short range.

Garren Caviel from Wales had four fish up to a new PB of 18lb 08oz using spicy shrimp and prawn boilies in the margins.

Jeoff Sargeant also from Wales had 16 fish including mirrors of 21lb, 22lb and 23lb 08oz along with a new lake record ghostie of 23lb 08oz. All Jeoff’s fish fell to 6mm and 10mm Richworth KG-1 boilies fished only 10 yards from the bank.

Eight year old Sam Jones from Swindon had eight fish up to 16lb during a 24 hours session, his first trip to the lake.!

Steve Clarke and Luke Carpenter from Hinders in Swindon fished a 48 hour session together and managed 35 fish to high doubles using Nutz Sludge and fluro pop-ups either stalking or on zig rigs.

ST JOHNS LAKE
Andrew Leather had three common up to 27lb 12oz and five mirrors up to 21lb 12oz using zig rigs with small pieces of red or black foam.

Nick Slater had his first ever thirty in the shape of a 30lb common fishing maggots, fishing with Nick was Stephen May who had a cracking 20lb 08oz mirror also on maggots.

HARDWICK LAKE
Robin Bain had six fish including a 22lb linear and a 26lb 09oz common using maize. Fishing with Robin was Cellina Poole who had a new PB 19lb 08oz common along with an 8lb tench also on maize.

Linear Bailiff Jon Mudd had 87 fish including mirrors of 23lb 11oz and 27lb using small hookbaits fished in the margins.

Trevor Cooke from Southampton had common of 18lb, 19lb and 26lb along with a 28lb 08oz mirror during a 24 hours session using maggots in the margins. BRASENOSE 2
Chris Young fished a 24 hour session and managed 10 fish up to 12lb 06oz using Mainline boilies over light spod at about 50 yards.

Adam Hepworth fished for 48 hours catching 2 carp up to 13lb 10oz using Mainline boilies over a spodded area.

And Bernie Loftus had over 20 fish last time I spoke to him up to 18lb although most of his fish were singles or scrapper doubles. Bernie was using various hook baits from maggots to plastic corn.

Josh from Bicester had a 19lb 08oz mirror on his first visit to Brasenose-2 using pineapple pop-ups.
