Stewart Bloor has won October’s Contributor prize with his popular ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’ series of articles. He wins a superb Relum Bedchair Brotel.

Stewart, or if we get really formal, the Reverend Stewart Bloor, is an ordained minister and is the director of the Sedgley International Christian Ministries based in the West Midlands.

Sedge, as he is known by his fishing pals, is a very keen angler and bases his Pilgrim’s Progress features on his fishing adventures, writing about his personal progress and the angling scene as he sees it. He is an all-round angler, targeting all species from barbel and pike to roach and dace, with the occasional dabble at sea fishing.

His boundless enthusiasm and the good humour that shines through in his articles went a long way towards convincing us that October’s Contributor prize should be his.

Other contributors received bulk spools of Sufix line.

If you want the chance to win a Contributor prize courtesy of Relum, which could be the major prize of a bivvy or Bedchair Brotel, or a bulk spool of Sufix line, then send your contributions to graham@fishingmagic.com.
