The FM team check out the third pair of sunnies from Shade Station…

In our final review of a selection of some of the sunglasses supplied by Shade Station we were lucky to receive a pair of the Serengeti Sport series, in particular the stylish Nunzio 7318.

With sleek, head-hugging shiny black arms, detailed with grey, and a minimalist appearance these shades were the editor’s favourite, both in terms of looks and performance. Anyone who wants to see just what they look like will be able to do so wherever he is fishing this winter as we can’t see them being prised from him too easily…

The Nunzio range of Serengeti sunglasses feature the signature Serengeti photochromic technology and the Nunzio 7318 boasts a Polarised PHD CPG Photochromic lens, which gave outstanding clarity of vision in medium to bright light and anyone – and there are a few – who doubts the difference a high quality pair of lenses can make to your underwater and fish-spotting vision over and above a cheap pair really need to take a look through these. The difference is clear, quite literally!

Whether you are on the river trotting a float for grayling, casting a fly for trout, on a skiff searching for bonefish or indeed just pottering around, or across, a lake these sunglasses offer excellent performance – and what’s more they look good too, very good!

The Nunzio 7318 sunglasses come with an official Serengeti Sunglasses one year guarantee and are supplied in a rugged, zipped hard case with a high quality cleaning cloth.

The glasses are currently available from Shade Station at just £120  – click HERE for further details or to purchase.
