On Saturday and Sunday, 9th and 10th December, the Newark Showground will open its doors to anglers who are hoping to find the bargain of the century.
More than 30 exhibitors will be selling tackle discounted by as much as 50 to 60%. Match rods at £ 15 and poles at £ 60 are just two examples of what could be picked up.
There will be tackle to suit every discipline in sea, game and coarse angling, and from most major manufacturers.
More than 20,000 people are expected to attend over the weekend. Parking will be free, toilets are available and refreshment can be purchased from a cafeteria.
According to the organisers they have ‘brought together discount retailers, importers, wholesalers and manufacturers all selling (with no holds barred) direct to the public at crazy prices.’
Entry fee is £ 3, children/OAP £ 1.
