ST JOHNS LAKE
Leon Bartropp fished maize, at distance from the Road Bank, over a large bed of hemp and Partiblend to catch a fully scaled mirror of 22.06, a mirror of 19.08 and a pristine common of 27.10.
Sixteen year old Kyle O’Shaughnassy from Newcastle caught a lake record common carp of 33.05. Kyle fished Nash Boilies along with PVA bags and pellets to tempt the fish which is a PB for him and beats his previous best by over 17lb.
Richard Holyfield did a three day session on the water for eleven fish on particles. There were five over twenty pounds in the catch and the best weighed 27.02.
HARDWICK LAKE
Phil Willcock and his fishing mate, Lloyd Masters, both from Burgess Hill have so far netted three mirrors between them. Phil has caught two at 27.05 and 19.01 and Lloyd’s fish weighed 21.12. All were tempted with particles.
Keith Parkes, of Romford in Essex, made his first visit to the water and was rewarded with carp of 26.06, 25.08 and 18lb. All three fish took DT Baits.
Kerry Knight caught a double and a 23lb common and Stoke on Trent’s Dave Long fished particles to take mirrors of 19.06 and 16lb.
GAUNTS LAKE
Nick Bull from Salisbury reports seven carp including mirrors of 30.08, 26.04 and a ghostie of 20.08.
MANOR FARM LAKE
Fishmeal boilies produced two nice mirror carp of 22.08 and 22.12 for Nick Ayling.
Bury, Lancs angler, Rob Hunterfished particles to bank a mirror of 25.12.
HUNTS CORNER LAKE
Oxfordshires, Simon Mansbridge caught two mirrors of 22.08 and 24.08 on particles with PVA groundbait bags. It was Simon’s first visit to the water.
