Yeah, ded rite, you trampled on my pride that day catching all them fish.First time I ever fished with Flighty last year I let him have a waggle and I'm sure he dropped it when my back was turned, it must have happened back then.
Probably done well to last this long :wh :wh :wh

There you go, posted as I was replying.
Clearly a man with a guilty conscience
Most of it is much the same Graham, just disguised in differant livery!.Buy cheap tackle, get a problem chuck it in the bin problem solved ,
I was in the Alnwick area last week and so went for a look at the Hardy 'Museum' and shop. I was hoping to feel 'compelled' to buy a Marksman float rod, but as Binka suggested, the only coarse rods were Greys and several racks of Shakespeare. They've also crammed loads of 'Chub', JRC, Penn and Abu gear into there.
What was most striking was that the multiple staff on site were all desperate to make a sale, as despite my 'just-browsing' comment to all who approached me I was constantly hounded, and so left within 5 minutes of arriving. With staff under this (ultimately counter-productive) pressure to sell, I suspect that all is not well at Pure Fishing, and any thoughts of my 'investing' £300 or so in one of their rods either directly from them or via another shop evaporated given the concern that they might not still be around to provide after-sales support.
Shame to see a great brand go this way
