When I left school Peter, I did a year as a trainee greenkeeper on a championship course and during lunchtimes we played a couple of generally unused holes which led back to the clubhouse after the 7th, for those that only wanted to play nine.
I was barred from playing after three weeks as my reverse slice was deemed to dangerous so close to the car park
