I guess there's no such thing as a perfect sponsor - booze and fag companies included. But Thames Water have an active angling development arm which encourages youngsters to take up fishing plus they open up their waters eg Farmoor & Walthamstow to anglers so they tick a few boxes.
Fancy your chances then?
Probably right, but it could be said that some are better than others?
"In the period 2005-2013 Thames Water was the most heavily fined water company in the UK for pollution incidents, paying £842,500 for 87 events.
It also paid the largest fine for a single incident of £204,000.
Following concern that the level of fines was too low, in 2013 the Sentencing Council proposed a significant increase in the level of fines for water pollution.
The proposals would see the average fine increase to £250,000 and the maximum £2 million."

A case could be argued for curious bedfellows?
How very dare we restrict an Angling Trust competition to Angling Trust members...clearly our staff and volunteers should work for nothing for those who want to pay nothing and contribute nothing...great idea !
