vacume packed baits will also last a lot longer on the bank it is vert easily done at home with a pedal bin bag and your trusty vacume cleaner

Hitting on something roto mentions, that often what appears to be mould is in fact the sugars/starches coming to the surface.

If anyone is still put off using these, despite reassurances to the contrary, just pop em into a pan of boiling water and it dissapears!

rik.iam sure the article is helpfol to a lot of anglers.i have caught fish on mouldy boilies .i hang mine up in the garage on a garden riddle .in passing if they will take a rock hard halibut they will take the air dried boilie which i have proved to myself.
