I realise that this is 6 years late but spent last weekend up to my knees in mud fork in hand, both at Condor Green and behind the station at Arnside but found only one Creeper.... What am I doing wrong. I was getting stuck in the cloying mud often and had difficulty pulling my feet out. Am I in the wrong position on the banks. Need help as just moved to the NW from Cornwall and need to learn to fish for other species than just my usual Bass and Bream.
