Frothey what is you opinion on Maize as a long term prebaiting bait. From a carp care perspective.

carp love it. fish farmers in france use it to feed their fish, as well as some fishery owners over here and the fish seem to grow ok!fantastic bait, cheap as chips.

I am really looking this season for a new PB over 37 pounds. Are hammering them on a hair with 2 pips on at the moment. Would you recommend i put on more for bigger carp.

no, look at the size of a thirties mouth - will putting an extra grain on make any difference?

how many big fish are there in the lake - if theres hundreds of smaller fish, and just two or three bigger ones the only way to target them is to stalk them. failing that, just keep feeding sacks of maize into one spot, and work your way through them

Dont know how many big uns there are. Seems that i am the fisrt one catching them there. But i think i will do both STALKING and PILING IN THE BAIT.
