Hi Bill
Thanks for you kind words.
As to having a gift, I'm not so sure. Being on the cusp ofanother year, it's always a time for looking forward and reflecting on the past. Due to the 'troubles' here on FM, I have been looking back on all my previous mutterings.
I can see a definite transition of style from writing what I think to thinking about what I write. Of the two styles, it's far easier (for me) to do the first, and literally just put down into words what I amthink/feel.
When I start to think about what Iam writing about it become (again, for me) a lot more complicated, particularly when I start to imagine what others will/do make of what I am trying to say. Then I end up writing forsomeone else, not for me, if that makes sense.
This story was easy to write, plenty of my own memories to fall back on, a little bit of poetic licence and it was done, so obviously one I wrote for myself. I hope next year to be able to do more writing of that kind.
Happy New Year to you Bill, and all on FM
Best regards
Kevin
