elasticate no a top kit

when you elasticate a top kit, are the sections used for the top kit telescopic or put together like the rest of the pole?

Usually the number one section telescopes inside the number two, you generally have to cut back the number one or some discard it altogether. The no3 section is usually put together into the no2.

What peter said but I'll add

If you ever unsure about that remove all sections from the bottom of the pole and try to slot them togeter, a designed telescopic joint won't fit over - it wouldn't work basically put over or pin in.

Id advise you to go to your tackle shop, they help you elasticated your pole
