Feeder Rods

A mate of mine whom used to fish 40 years ago is introducing his grand kids to fishing and the rivers. He has equipped them both with a float set ups.

He now has asked for suggestions for ideas on what's available in a feeder rod for fishing rivers, He has advised he has about £160 for a pair of rods.

Any ideas lads as I have none

The shakespere agility continental is supposed to be very good,
I have a maver feeder rod, 12' with 3 tips rated at 1oz , 2oz and 3oz
I have used it on both large commercials and rivers with no problems
retails for around £45 - 50, its the maver Abyss,
