Fish and Predators (We Are an Equal Opportunities Trust) Executive Press Release, 2-5-14
We have been contacted by some of our cousins in India - here is what they sent us:
"Honoured Sirs,
We have been experiencing acute difficulties with some of your self-styled Sahib Fishers. They came over here, caught us, photographed us, professed undying love for us etc, made names for themselves as rad' and extreme Fishers in the Super-Hero Mould, set up businesses selling us, got fishing for us (and the little protection that low-intensity fishing for us had afforded us) banned, then cleared off back to Old Blighty, never to be heard of or from again except to set up some Org or another to raise British £s funds to protect us. Sirs, we feel compelled to ask you this: with publicity-hungry and apparently low-integrity friends like these who needs enemies? Is there nothing that can be done to stop these sorts; they're worse than traps, nets and high explosives. As fellow fish you will surely understand our predicament, knowing as well as we do that fish left to themselves are just fine, and that only a certain sort of fish- and self-obsessed "man" is foul. Please send Boote Sahib back over here soonest; he really kicks caudal and is remembered fondly and with much fishy respect for that - fairly threw themselves at his baits and lures our great ancestors did, just to spend a minute or two with him on the bank. Just what is going with you fellows, we often ask ourselves, when we're not dodging nets and bombs.
