Fish'n'strips

Tried them and caught a couple of pin whiting. I was also using lug on another rod and they caught me nothing. Would like to say this is a miracle bait but so far it's done nothing spectacular. That particular trip was at a time when the fish are few and far between though so when numbers increase things may get better.
Anyone reading this who lives in Bedfordshire or close by?
