I agree Jeff, there are going to be some great characters on this fish in.....will be great fun....btw can anyone help me to get my first barbel? Maybe a zed too, as I still need both species for my species hunt

I think this is a loving fish in.

I am looking forward to meeting up with all those going, and reading the posts on here i dont think much fishing will be done.

You should have little prob' catching one or the other (barbel or Z)

****y and I have been doing some trial runs this weekend, but I think ****y is going to report on these at some stage.

Oct/Nov on the Seven - well they have always been the best Z months for me. Although, this could just be a case of the areas I fish being good at this time of year.

All the areas we have been looking at have real Z potential, and extremley bigs ones at that. If you want some advice on catching them on the Sev' just give one of us a shout. If the conditions are right, and their are 30 of us fishing - given the calibre of many of the Fish Magic guys, I think there is every chance of one or two pretty special fish.

Could do with all the advice going on zed...never fished for them...so rigs bait etc I'm not sure off....s'pose it's similar to piking????

And the barbel....well I read enough about catching them to totally confuse me lol.......but I got an idea how to fish for them....only advice I need is what bait would be best for them at the Serven?
