Excellent but he is a bit contentious in it , you could start quite a few long long threads with some of the things he said, but , fair play , he also said "fish how you want to". Do his sentiments echo the way you fish Sam ?

Sometimes, and sometimes not. I do fish long sessions sometimes, but I generally find all the clobber required a bit of a chore. As far as coarse fishing goes, I do a bit of everything on any type of venue for any species. Much depends on the time of year and the prevailing conditions. The only real exception is piking, though I do get the urge to do that once in a blue moon.
