can you put boats on it if so it looks prime sounder material to me.

I think it's a Lafarge pit / water in which case, no - boats are not allowed usually. Pity beacuse they have another in Little Marlow about 100 acres and I've always wanted to put a boat on it spinning for pike.

I can see you having a lot of blinks (sorry, blanks) on the Eye, Nick. It's hard by all accounts.

Dead right there cheeky...

BUT!... theres some great bream and tench in there, and whenever i go down there, it's empty...

I certainly am not going to make it the only water i fish, but i am going to commit to fishing it regularly enough to learn about the water.

As for Boats... they are not allowed, but the gravel bars are obvoius, specially if you look at an aerial photo of it!... lol!.


As for the demise of "the eye", there are a lot of rumours about it.. frotheys suggestion that it ended up somewhere else are probably the most common one... i dont know, and, i dont care if it's in there or not, there are a FEW others!....

not that i wouldnt've minded catching it.....
