Good afternoon gents and lasses,
just a quick one, my grandad who hasn’t the foggiest on angling had informed me he’s just acquired some land greenham island in newbury, with a couple of small pools and river either side, me being the avid angler ears tweaked but not from around that neck of the woods.
has anyone fished it previously or know of it? just wondering rough idea of species before i head up there soon and give it a go, he sent some pictures of some decent sized stripeys so i’m just guessing the usual course fish? and take its quite a shallow bit of water being fast paced from the rough pics he sent.
any help greatly appreciated.
