New member of the forum.
Returned to fishing this season after a 42-year break, and loving it. I was a only a beginner then so still a beginner to be honest.
I am looking forward to picking some brains !!
I am a member of a local pit but cant wait for 16th June TBH.!!

Hi welcome to the forum.
Is the pit that you refer to closed in the original closed season?

NB: You do realise that the closed season now only applies to rivers and streams; except for in certain circumstances; such as SSI’s (sites of Special Scientific Interest) or local rules? so you might be able to fish before the 16th June.
