Hi all,
I've obtained a Greys Berwick rod and a lovely Youngs Purist reel off a mate for a song as he's off abroad!
I know that on the Greys website
it says this is a 'running water' rod
would it also be useful as a light
stillwater float rod? I was thinking
maybe crucian carp, rudd etc.
Also does anyone use centerpins
on stillwater? i know these reels are mainly for trotting and seems perfect for a little pond or lake
These probably seem daft questions
but would appreciate peoples views.
Cheers,
Matt.
