You'll get there Claudia ;-)

Yep that's it Cakey, Dundas Basin is quite big, but the camera probably makes it look a lot bigger.

And the way things are going you will be able to look over the viaduct bridge at the Avon in FULL flood!

It's lashing it down here!

Right then Steve. What's the score with this canal thingy??

What's the method, bait, tactics???

What do I bring gear and bait wise (I've not fished the K&A for over 25 years!).

Will my specially prepared "cork on quill" 15SSG slider floats still work??

A broomstick, piece of string and a wiggley worm will catch you almost anything ;-) lol

My wife has use of the broomstick for the weekend.

How long is the piece of string?

Come on Neil don't give me that old line ;-) Old habits don't die!

It's up to you mate, we've had roach bream carp on liquidised bread and punch on the pole in the basin. A very small blockend (maggot caster worm) on the tip works too, a wag if it's too windy and perch on worms.

Don't know if you're into pike fishing? But that's an option too. So bring everything, just like the old days.

Have a look at Cakey's "bike ride".
