There's an excellent interview with Neville Fickling in this week's Angling Times that's well worth reading. Often the Angling Times interviews concentrate more on the journalist having a pleasant time fishing with the interviewee, and the resulting articles can be rather bland.
For a change, this interview covers two pages and there's some thought provoking ideas. Neville Fickling suggests
"The problem is that we are too efficient at catching. Do we need to cut down the number of rods we can use, or introduce a pike season ?"
What do other pike anglers think of this idea ?
