Went to look at s/h and new feeder rods this morning at my local shop. Mainly looking for the Maver abyss 12ft or Drennan series7 Puddle Chucker or any other which was on offer.

One rod name which I've not heard mentioned was a Greys feeder (more expensive) and this felt very light and thin or maybe too light, In fact all the above rods were very light compared to the old rod I have at moment and I need convicing these are up to the job.
Going back on Monday for a second look.
