New NW Angler

Hi All,

About to start coarse fishing for the first time soon. Would like to know what would be the best Rod/Tackle setup for river fishing. I will post a separate thread for this in another area.

Experience of fishing has mainly been sea fishing on the NE Coast. I now live in South Liverpool and I quite keen to look into River/Lake fishing.

Always keen to receive any advice and if anyone has any ideas of books so I can start to understand coarse fishing that would be great.
