Nice one Jason, glsad your standard are high mate!
John, I`m very sorry to hear about the problems you have experienced from both the SAA and the ACA. The main problem with these types of organisations of course is that they are run by volunteers, many who have an excessive work load with other things in their lives, like the rest of us, and mistakes and replys get mislayed and delayed, its all down to manpower really. I`ve not been involved with the ACA but fully support thew work they do, should they get it wrong from time to time, I openly forgive them. I do have friends who have worked very hard for the ACA putting up national stands, giving talks and generally promoting the organisation.
I have been involved with NASA and SACG, now SAA, who over the years have achieved so much by so few, much of which has recieved insufficient media attention. If SAA have any faults it is that they are not very good at blowing their own trumpets. Dispite representing the majority of specialist anglers through many of the main specialist organisations, in real terms very few people give their free time up to work for our benefit, what few do roll up their sleeves achieve much behind the scenes work. In the main they are short of bodies (pro-active ones) and money. Anyone out there wishing to give an helping hand, then please contact Mike Heylin on
