Hi all,
I've looked at a few poles...i have a budget of around 1k. The two i picked as my favorites are the Preston Innovations 2g81 and the garbollino g796. I can't decide between and i wondered what you guys thought of the poles and which one you would have...Plus if you have any other poles to put forword within my budget please do so. Also if you guys could tell me any shops that are doing them cheaper than other (i.e cheaper than ?999.99) please tell me :) .

Thanks alot,
Sam.

The Garbolino is relatively new, so unlikely to be available cheaper. It's a nice package - I've had a waggle of one and am tempted.

Ooops. Meant to add more. The MAP Matchtek II looks good for ?799 and has had a couple of good reviews. Also Shimano Speedmaster. essentially, all the major firms are much of a muchness at various price points. I tend to think it wise to buy from those who actually manufacture - Garbolino, Shimano, Maver/Reglass, etc - rather than those who pay someone else to put their name on the pole.
