Quiver section for JW Avon/Quiver

Anybody had any joy on this?

I too have a pair of the original green versions of these rods (minus the two quivertip sections!)

Why should these have rods have an inherent magnetism for doors? I have never managed to damage any other rods in doorframes and yet both spliced in quiver sections have gone the same way.

I have the original JW quiver which i have only used on four occasions and to be honest would sell it for half price

Update I'm persuing the Masterline line of enquiry, but they haven't answered my Email as yet. If that doesn't come off I'll repair it myself, I won't need the rod until June anyway as river fishing here in the North East is knackered by the snow. Anyone any experience of directfishing.co.uk as I ordered a new John Wilson Avon/Quiver System rod from them through Ebay about 4 weeks ago and now can't get any joy from them, the "Boss" never seems to be there.
