Has anyone tried to adapt the push-in quivers to work as a screw in type, or is it possible to adapt a rod to take the push-in sort whilst keeping the end eye intact?
I have a pair of Normark Avon rods that are fine as Avons and have threaded tip rings for screw in quivers but these dont seem up to much in my opinion compared to push-in ones. Would it be possible to use some sort of adaptor that keys into a threaded tip ring that can take a push-in quiver or would it need to be a permanent spliced tip?
Any ideas on the best way to accommodate a detachable quiver, as i like to use the rods without a quiver also?
