yeah, I saw that house program on telly last night, where they eventually bought a 4 bed house in the middle of Warrington for 160 grand.

Must be a lovely area....

I lived at Woolston (which was quite nice) but then moved to Sankey Bridges (not nice). Better than Runcorn though.

I live back in Doncaster now Baz.

I only spent 18 months in Warrington. This over 10 years ago.

I lived 200 yards from the Sankey St Helens Canal and never fished it.

I left my tackle with family in Doncaster because I had loads of stuff nicked from my house in Sankey Bridges and didn't want to lose all my tackle as well!

Matt,
Why knock Runcorn. I've lived here for 53 years and worked for ICI 31 years. Atleast I've got am excuse to go fishing.

Robert Woods.

Hi Bob.
I'll bet it was someone from Runcorn (little liverpool) that nicked Matts gear.
I'll bet you don't go fishing around the Sankey do you Bob?

Someone from Runcorn nicked my Mountain Bike. I managed to get it back too.

Runcorn smelled terrible, and the canal was horrible at that end. There's heavy industry and traffic everywhere.

I do like the TV program Two Pints Of Lager..." though. (which is set in Runcorn for those that haven't been.)

I used to do a bike ride wher I went down the canal to Runcorn, over the bridge and back into Warrington via the Bridgwater Canal.

Robert, if you like Runcorn that fine with me.

Matt,
No way Mucker, just waiting for the right six numbers. Then it is a house on either Dane or Severn.
Baz,
I used to fish the Bridgy at Grapenhall until a strange man came walking his dog snaffling my tea...!!!

Bob.

Oh yes, I remember now Bob. You must have laced it with rum or something, because I was sure I could see five rods out.
