Bit poorly at the moment so have spent much of the day in bed reading papers feeling sorry for myself. Read AT cover to cover for first time in ages and right at the back it reprinted Walker vs Sails from 1953.

what great days the walker era was,all us young un's used to call ouselves "****'s disciples",first page to read in a.t.always made you want to grab a rod and try latest method.anglings equivalent to the rock and roll era.(f.j.taylor still writes in shooting times by the way).

I think Walker catching Clarisa,did more for fishing in general than just carp fishing.Certainly did for me at the time.
