Still need Jeff's money too!!!
I was going to send it to you along with your renewal notice for the syndicate, that way I would save on the cost of a stamp and I thought being a Yorkshireman you would commend me on that. :p ;)

Now, I may just send you the Clattercote money and no renewal seeing, also, as you nearly emptied the fishery last year! There are 743 on the waiting list you know!!! :eek:mg:

I did the 140 mile round trip to the ressie today. White horses and spindrift pushed by a strong east wind coming off the dam wall. There was a match in progress on the same pegs that we will be fishing, nearly every man was fishing cage feeder ,method feeder or bagging waggler. The carp have certainly grown bigger with the average size 10-15lb. Skimmers around 2lb were also coming out.
Due to the match I fished well beyond the early pegs and ended up on peg 57
Carp 4. me 0. Be prepared..........

I have just been informed by my sources of 'intelligence' that this event is to be targetted by Al- Qaeda terrorists, so I definitely won't be going.
Wash your ears out Corkey.

Message should read "this event is being targetted by all the feeder specialists."

Shouldn't make an iota of difference, as the final is not being contested by really 'popular' teams . . . . . . .
Just because Arsenal aren't in it! :p :p :p

In fact, our "mutual friend" is an Arsenal supporter and is still going to Wembley to watch it. He loves football. Nowt wrong with that.

  2. Weigh-in mats will be provided by the 'on-site' bailiff together with instructions on weigh-in procedure
  3. Nets must be staked out properly
  4. When weighing-in please avoid damage to fish
  5. NEVER place fish on platforms or boards

BREAKFAST will be in the Brasenose Arms in Cropredy from at 730.http://http://www.brasenosearms.com/

If you are coming down the A423 from Southam then take the first left off the A423 after the Clattercote turning towards Cropredy and turn right at the bottom of the road at a T junction and then follow the road into Cropredy until you see the pub on your right.

If you are approaching from Banbury turn right at a sign I think for Great Bourton and Cropredy.Go through Great Bourton and follow the road into Cropredy.Bear left at the bottom and the pub will be on your left.

Isn't it Spiders that always gets pegged alongside Scott Whatmore?

Arrange that, Nigel, please. ;)

Oi there's no need for that Woody ya bandit.

What have I done to deserve being pegged next to Spiders for 3 years running? He's a bloomin jinx. Been to 5 fish-in's with him now and still not seen him catch a fish !! (well not one that he didn't bring with him in a jar )
