He had better of given me thr right info instead of you, he increased his rate to ?1.25. Said I'd get correct info as you were tight and would only go up to 90p.

Wol may not have been serious about potatoe being the killer bait at Blue Pool, or he may of.
However the question still stands, how do you prepare it and hook it. Haven't used spud since I was 14/15 and not successfully then if my memory serves me correctly. I didn't have anyone older to tutor me and I found my way by trial and error after reading books and magazines.

We used to par boil them ,not too soft or they wil just fall apart ,as to hooking we would just pull the hook through and use a peice of grass stem as a stop and they were freelined but this was before we used the hair .

I did say par boil them. Dyed red is the 'in' tatty on Blue Pool at moment.
