Willie Whale will be a dead un' mark my words. Last TV pictures I saw at 2 30 pm showed it struggling.

Billinsgate fish market will have whale meat at knockdown prices by monday.

Single whale, bottle-nosed thingy variety which is apparently really rare.

There were pics of it on the BBC website last time I looked.

Generally speaking, when they come inshore it's curtains.

We get them washed up where I live from time to time and they become tourist attractions for a couple of days.

Very sad, though totally fascinating to see these things and they clearly get old and pop their clogs like the rest of us.

Last one I saw was this one, 70ft, me and a mate got sent on a mntal trek across the marsh in a blizzard to find and photograph it.

Here you go, sorry crap at links:

I liked the reporter that said, if the whale gets into difficuties we have a team of experts on stand by.

Oh that is good news, can the experets do something to help it then?

Eerr, well, no actually.

It's going to die, isn't it. They had some idiot on the radio saying if it beached itself, they'd be able to help it.

No chance.

It weighs seven or eight tonnes and is built for that weight to be supported by water.

My mate remarked how sad it was when these wonderful mammals run ashore and seem to be on a suicide mission: "Maybe they're trying to tell us something," he said.

The other twat I work with started going: "eeeeeooooo weeeeeeeoooooo deeeeeeeee....."

I was listening to the radio driving home and they were awaiting the results of an autopsy.

There was a vox pop of whale lovers.

Ring in and tell us where were you when you saw it.

Aren't we going a bit overboard..? It was the splash in the Daily Mail Saturday.

Aren't there any sex offenders, asylum seekers or *Liberal Democrats* left to write about..?

they spent too much time filming the whale whilst it was coming inland, they could have netted it way earlier and sent it back to sea..
Bloody immigrant!!
