Section of Fishery or river stretch: Snake inner right hand side
Date:02.03.2008
Time fished:7.30am - 4pm
Weather conditions strong gusts of wind
Water conditions: Calm
Air temperature:11
Water Temperature:?
Bait:3mm pellet as feeder. hook bait, maggot, Corn and 6mm pellet, Corn worked best
Method pole, bottom
Results:30+lb fish
Brief description of the session & remarks:

Fish much more active than a week ago, Carp rolling on surface by early afternoon and taking bait on the drop while very shallow.

Wind was a nightmare as no set direction and seemed to change from left to right all day, fished out at 14.5m to far bank so pole hard to keep still and had to leave a lot of line between float and tip to reduce jerking the line. Got smashed by second fish of the day, number 12 elastic and size 14 hook with maggot, ended upwith hook bent straight,so fish won that battle.
