Ron, if you want some fluted avons , try a chap called Chris Lythe from Scotton, he makes some beautiful and extremely useable fluted floats , although I must warn you, theyre not cheap. !

Thanks cane, I might send off for a couple. I have met Chris Lythe and in my opinion he makes the best centrepin reels in the country.

If I could afford one, I would have one.

I recently spoke to one of Englands most successful barbel anglers. He only ever uses 1 rod!

I use six if i think i can get away with it. Two nets just incase. Boat beats a spodding session any day. You cant beat pouring it in over the side of the boat. Back to camp, light the BBQ, crack a tinny open, bliss.

Do you reduce each rod to just two hook rigs when having a social, or do you stick to your usual 4?
