Carp Surprise

(well its certainly a surprise for the carp)

get a carp of about 2 to 3lb, chop off its head, tail gutt it etc and throw it in the chip pan

fry for a few minutes and slap it on a muffin with loads of salt and vinigar

hey presto

I remember him from the old days when he had that 40 plus carp in the papers - old but still a legend ;-)

I'm not surprised you'd have a recipe for 'em, Monk, it was your lot that introduced them here.

Did you have muffins then though?

By "Norman", Les, do you mean William the Bastard AKA the Norman Conquest? 1066 and all that!

I think Monk is right, originally, but twas the monks that bred them in greater quantities, Im sure.

Or is Murray saying that Ron is responsible? Didn't know he was quite that old.
