It's time to vote in the March round of our writing competition, run in conjunction with Chapel Baits.

A very disappointing number of voters so far - only a couple of days left, please check out the features and have your say before the poll closes.

Dave Roberts' feature was not eligible for the competition; the shortlist contains all of the monthly contenders.

C'mon lads! Writers produce this stuff for fun and in the spirit of FM, articles have been produced for purely altruistic reasons..... They take a lot of effort and I appreciate that the satisfaction is in part derived from seeing your work available for others.

But here is an example where you can celebrate and show recognition of the effort involved and all you need to do is check a vote box - a nice change from the usual enthusiasm shown for a good squabble.

As usual, excellent articles, very enjoyable, super quality, variety and range of styles... Thanks, enjoyed reading them all!!

Thank you to the few who took the time to vote; a very disappointing turnout given the effort the writers have gone to in order to keep us amused, entertained and informed - and for a competition that was originally suggested and supported by so many forum members too.

The articles are certainly being read (and enjoyed) by large numbers of people so we shall try a little harder to promote the forum voting for the final two months of the competition!

This poll is now closed and the judges are deliberating; the verdict will be delivered shortly.
